Over the weekend I installed bar-end mirrors on the SV! The old bar ends were a bitch to get out, but I was victorious in the end after going at it with a drill, a big fucking hammer, a screwdriver, and a liberal application of swearing.
I think it makes the bike look a lot better and I definitely have a wider field of view. The image size/detail is worse and I have to look down more to actually check my mirrors, but I always do headchecks so overall its an improvement
Oh yeah I also found a fan and thankfully had my gopro rolling to capture the moment. I then proceeded to woo her with a wheelie
